Hello everyone!!!!!
Joke of the day: (scroll to the bottom to see punch line)
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Welcome to the first student run Budapest blogs! Todays fun blog is brought to you by Carly, Annie and Emma (cute lil' picture above).
Today was our first full day in Budapest and it was filled with lots of walking, cool monuments, amazing palaces and delicious foods.
Here is a minute to minute run down of our day!
9:00 - Breakfast (a nice assorted meat plate, chocolate muffins with CREAM INSIDE (pictured below), and a whole jar of Nutella, and of course other things but those were the highlights!)
9:30 - Met our Hungarian tour guide/teacher/friend Emese, and some of the Hungarian University students
10:30- Took a walking tour of Pest, led by the lovely Emese
12:30 - Went to the Central Market for Langós (the Langós were amazing but the line was a tad LONGós)
2:30 - Walked over to the Buda side and explored the Castle District
6:00 - Explored Pest and new places to eat and have fun!
Overall our first day was busy but rewarding and an excellent introduction to the beautiful city.
Keep checking in on the daily to hear from each room, and meet each of the students!
