Audrey, Amy, Synneva, and Haley are exited to be back on the blog today! We started off the day with a cold and gloomy walk to the college for a morning of math. Amy stopped at the train station on the way to class to buy a train ticket to Vienna for next weekend. We practiced proof by contradiction while learning about prime numbers and the Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic.
After our first session of math, we took a break for lunch. Amy and Haley went to Big Soup and Audrey and Synneva headed to a fan favorite, The Goat Herder.
After a delicious lunch, we returned to the college for... more math!
After a long day of math, we went back to the hotel for some much needed rest. Audrey, Haley, and Synneva stopped at the train station to buy tickets to Bratislava for next weekend. Later, Haley worked on the homework, Amy went to the thermal baths, and Audrey and Synneva explored a few vintage shops in the neighborhood.
For dinner we checked out a Mexican restaurant called Gringo Amigo. We enjoyed the free refills of fun flavors of lemonade. Our favorites were Kiwi, which tasted more like mint, and Banana Horchata.
After dinner we took the metro to a gelato restaurant, only to find that it is closed for the winter :(
Worry not, we stopped for chimney cakes and ice cream on our way back to the hotel.
Now we have to sign off for the evening to go finish our homework; apparently double math means double homework. If we're lucky, we'll fit in a trip to the sauna too!
